Description
The Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low “Stars - Mean Green” is a March 2021 collaboration between the “World Famous” streetwear brand and Nike SB on the popular low-top skate shoe. One of the first orders of business for establishing Nike SB saw the skate brand recruit Supreme, then a little-known New York City skate shop on Lafayette Street, for its take on the SB Dunk. In 2003, Supreme and Nike SB released another Dunk, this time a high-top, which was well-received by sneaker collectors and skaters alike. This “Stars” design mimics the look of the 2003 colorways with premium leather faux croc skin overlays and Swoosh branding against a crisp white leather base. One of 4 colorways released, this edition features vibrant Mean Green for the croc skin panels. Like the 2003 release, the modern “Stars” makeup includes a printed gold star motif on the mid-panel, gold Nike embroidery on the heel, and a metallic gold Supreme emblem on the bottom of the laces. Release date: March 4, 2021.
