Description
The Nike Dunk Low TD “City Market” is a March 2021 colorway of the popular low-top shoe that shows love to urban grocery store’s upcycling of rice and coffee bags, and other reusable packaging. An assortment of colorful patterns and prints define the “City Market,” which follows the styling cadence of previous Dunk looks like the “Community Garden,” and others. Various printed panels give the “City Market” a unique mismatched look, beginning with the white textured forefoot overlay. The beige mid-panel is reminiscent of the packaging of a bag of sugar one may find inside of a city corner store. The features a small zip pocket that mimics reusable tote bags one can purchase at an urban city market that bans plastic bags. Elsewhere, translucent Swoosh detailing appears on either side and the slogan “Blue Ribbon Studio” is printed across the quarter panel as a nod to Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman’s precursor to Nike. Release date: March 4, 2021.
