Description
The Nike Dunk Low GS “University Red” is the youth sizing of the vintage basketball shoe that looks to the model’s original “St. John’s” colorway for design inspiration. The “St. John’s” or since-renamed “University Red” Dunk first appeared in Nike’s “Be True to Your School” collection from 1985 before its red-and-white color block was reversed for this September 2021 release. The perforated toe, mid-panel, collar, and heel are displayed in University Red leather. Contrasting white leather graces the overlays and Swoosh branding. On the back, red “Nike” detailing is embroidered on the heel. A red “Nike” with a Swoosh logo graces the white tongue tag on the red nylon tongue. Additional design intricacies include white laces, a white midsole, and a University Red-colored rubber outsole. Release date: September 16, 2021
