Jordan 4 Retro Red Thunder (GS)

The Air Jordan 4 GS “Red Thunder” is the kids version of the colorway of Michael Jordan’s fourth signature model that is inspired by a classic, non-original release of the vintage basketball shoe. The shoe we’re referring to is the Air Jordan 4’s “Thunder” colorway that debuted along with the popular “Lightning” colorway in 2006 before later returning as a standalone release in 2012. The “Red Thunder,” as implied by its name, is styled similarly to the original “Thunder,” but trades Tour Yellow accenting for red. The upper features a black synthetic nubuck base with red “wings” and a red mid-panel contrasted with black netting. The look is repeated on the tongue. Additional red detailing comes into play on the underside of the tongue, on the painted midsole, and on the “Flight” branding in script beneath the white Jumpman on the black nylon tongue tag. A white Jumpman appears on the heel. Finishing touches include a small visible Air unit in the heel of the midsole and a black rubber outsole. Release date: January 15, 2022
